About Brad

Brad Hepps serves in a dual role as a Loan Officer and Loan Officer Assistant in the Columbia, South Carolina branch of Assurance Financial. Growing up in Los Angeles, Brad has made the slow steady migration from one SC (Southern California) to the other SC (South Carolina). Since graduating from the California State University system, Brad has lived in multiple states before finally settling down in Columbia, SC. Brad lives with his wife, two daughters, and his extremely energetic Australian Shepherd near Lake Murray. Brad loves spending time boating on the lake and exploring the many beautiful and fascinating places of interest throughout South Carolina and the other states in the Southeastern US. Of course, he also really enjoys helping prospective borrowers with their mortgage needs whether they be purchasing, building, renovating, or refinancing their dream home.

Brad has an extensive background in financial services, having served as a Loan Officer, Underwriter, Loan Processor, Loan Servicer, and Personal Banker. Since entering the financial services industry, he has worked for three of the fifteen largest banks in the US. Recently, Brad has made the conscious choice to join Assurance Financial, a smaller community-based lender where borrowers are much more than just a name and an account number. The opportunity to work in a more efficient, streamlined organization like Assurance Financial means more opportunities to work closely with borrowers who are interested in more hands on, personalized customer service from their mortgage lender.
