About Katelyn
Katelyn is a Loan Officer in the Branch Operations Division of Assurance Financial. She is licensed in Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, DC, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming through the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry. She also holds her Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation and is actively pursuing her Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation.
Katelyn has been in the mortgage industry for over a decade and prides herself in helping her clients achieve the homeownership milestone that every person should enjoy. Her extensive knowledge of products and guidelines has proved to be invaluable. Katelyn takes immense joy in helping all clients navigate the loan process and ultimately end up at the closing table.
A native of Baton Rouge, Katelyn is a graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy and Louisiana State University where she was a member of Delta Zeta sorority. She is a member of the Greater Baton Rouge Mortgage Lenders Association, Greater New Orleans Mortgage Lenders Association, the Mortgage Bankers’ Association, the Impact Circle and the Junior League of Baton Rouge. Katelyn is also an active parishioner at St. Aloysius.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling and yoglates. Katelyn and her husband, Scott, live in Baton Rouge. Joined by Scott’s two beautiful children, Mia and Jackson, they joyfully welcomed their sons, Hudson in 2017 and Brooks in 2019.
