About Michael
Michael Landers is a Branch Manager and Loan Officer in the Austin, TX Branch of Assurance Financial. He has been a Mortgage Loan Officer for 19 years, starting first in New Orleans. Hurricane Katrina moved him to Austin in 2005. Out of that trial and tribulation he was fortunate to land in what is now widely known as one of the Best Places to Live in the U.S. Michael is well-versed in all home loan types from FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional, Reverse to Jumbo loans, and greatly enjoys working with first-time homebuyers and real estate investors. Communication throughout the loan process is key, and he works hard to provide superior customer service.
Michael obtained a B.S. degree in Finance and M.B.A. degree from the University of Colorado. He served on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for the Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin.
