About P.J.
P.J. Tavernit is a Senior Loan Officer in the Baton Rouge office of Assurance Financial. He joined the team in 2015. He is licensed in the states of Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi with expertise in a wide range of loan products. P.J. has over 10 years of experience in sales and finance. He enjoys working with first time and repeat home buyers as well as finding prime times in the market to take advantage of refinancing current homes.
P.J. is a native of Slidell and a graduate of Louisiana State University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. In his free time, P.J. enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah, and their two daughters, Sophia and Riley. P.J. is also an avid runner who has completed two IRONMAN triathlons. In addition, he has been a licensed skydiver since 2001 and has more than 1,300 skydives! When not jumping from planes, he enjoys all outdoor hobbies, watching his Tigers and Saints play, and boiling crawfish.
