Patrick Roberts, MBA is a Loan Officer for Assurance Financial at the Columbia, South Carolina branch.
A Louisiana native, Patrick fell in love with the Carolinas during his service in the Marine Corps. He has lived in the Carolinas since 2018, having always felt South Carolina was where he was meant to be. Patrick and his wife Anna planted roots in Charleston in 2021 and have made South Carolina their forever home.
Patrick is an alum of Louisiana State University, having earned his MBA in the EJ Ourso School of Business. He has more than fifteen years of experience in providing solutions for clients and community partners and in leading teams. Patrick has deep financial services knowledge, including personal finance, mortgage lending, and small business lending. He intimately understands the rigorous process of getting a loan, having been in the homebuyer’s shoes several times and from his tenure leading a credit underwriting team.
Patrick specializes in working with veterans and entrepreneurs but is more than happy to help everyone in obtaining a mortgage. He believes in being a team player and understands the importance of collaborating with his clients’ other professional advisors to incorporate mortgage financing holistically into his clients’ lives. Patrick enjoys taking the time and effort to educate and guide his clients through the lending process, helping them understand and apply their options to meet their financial goals – whether buying the home of their dreams, a home away from home, or an investment property.
Patrick and Anna spend their free time enjoying all that life in the Lowcountry has to offer, especially Charleston’s charm, beaches and restaurants. He strongly believes in lifelong learning, professional education, and in giving back to the community. He volunteers with SCORE, helping the Lowcountry’s entrepreneurs start and run their small businesses, and mentors veterans and finance students in career development. His hobbies include renovating old homes, CrossFit, and surfing.
Patrick loves helping his clients get into their dream home and finds this to be his most rewarding professional pursuit.
