Hi, I’m Rob Stewart, a Senior Loan Officer in the Lafayette Office of Assurance Financial. I am licensed through the National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry in Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Colorado, Virginia, and Arkansas. 

Originally from Houston, Texas, I joined Assurance Financial after 23 years in college athletics. I earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Texas A&M (’97 and ’99) and have worked for the Athletics Departments at Texas A&M, University of Houston, and the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.

As you will see from past reviews, I value customer service, communication, and the ability to make the loan process as easy as possible for my clients.

I’m an avid Astros fan and enjoys sports, music, and being outdoors. My wife, Lea, and I moved to Lafayette in 2014 where we enjoy raising our two children, Alayna and Ben.
