Your Guide to Events Supporting Assurance Cares
Assurance Cares is Assurance Financial’s brand-new philanthropic arm that supports various charitable efforts throughout the United States. Created in honor of our company’s 25th anniversary, we remain committed to communities – whether it’s our annual partnership with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or individual events with various local charities. Check out a few of the events that are planned for this year on behalf of Assurance Cares:
Mortgage and Mulligans
Beneficiary: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Location: Aiken, South Carolina
Date: June 5th, 2026
Mortgage and Mulligans, a fundraiser for St. Jude, took place at Back Nine Golf in Aiken, South Carolina. Attendees took part in golfing on simulators and silent auctions to raise funds for the children at St. Jude.

We had our first real community event in June, and the marketing team has been so on top of their game in helping it be a success. Our event took place at a golf simulator, and I told folks that it was only golf adjacent. You could have never held a club and with a little beginner’s luck, hit the longest drive or closest to the pin. Education for a Cause

Beneficiary: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Location: Baton Rouge, Louisiana
Date: October 10th, 2026
Serve for St. Jude is an annual event raising funds for St. Jude. This family-friendly social is more than just a pickleball tournament. Local vendors from the community are invited to attend and mascots from area colleges and sports teams keep the kids entertained. Court to Table, the venue for Serve for St. Jude, donates 15% from every food/beverage ticket to the cause. The event is completely free to attend and watch.

Apps for Kids Month
Beneficiary: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Location: All Assurance Financial branches
Date: September 2026
Throughout the month of September, national childhood cancer awareness month, Assurance Financial will donate $50 from every application directly to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Assurance Financial employees also have the option to donate directly from their paychecks to show support.

Education with Honor
Beneficiary: Fisher House
Location: Columbia, South Carolina
Date: November – Veterans Day Week
Education with Honor is an annual event that brings together members of the real estate community to support our local veterans while providing valuable continuing education opportunities. Through our partnership with MGC Real Estate Law and Chicago Title, we offer free continuing education courses for real estate agents and other real estate-related professionals, including home inspectors, contractors, and industry partners. The event allows attendees to earn CE credits while supporting a cause that has a direct impact on veterans and their families in our community. Education with Honor benefits Fisher House at the Dorn VA Medical Center. Often compared to a Ronald McDonald House for veterans, Fisher House provides a comfortable place for the families of veterans receiving medical care to stay near their loved ones during treatment. The support Fisher House provides can make an enormous difference during some of the most challenging times in a family’s life. During our inaugural Education with Honor event, we raised $2,180 for Fisher House.
